Golden Globes 2020

The most glamorous hair and makeup stylists for this years golden globe 2020 looks . It’s hot on the red carpet this year ..

This years Golden Globe Awards hit the town for the start of 2020 and here are the best looks for this year with hair and makeup, also how the stars prepared their skin with some amazing products on the market! It’s worth a read to really see what these A Listers glam squads are all doing before the biggest glamorous event in town !

Jennifer Lopez hit the carpet in a regal gold and green Valentino gown that’ll easily go down as one of her best, but it was her hair and makeup that made us stop short. The actress tempered her voluminous frock with a flashy, structured bun wrapped in French braids. Created by Lopez’s go-to hairstylist Chris Appleton , it was a big as it was beautiful.

Meanwhile, J.Lo’s longtime makeup artist Scott Barnes used palettes from his new makeup collection to give his Lopez a purple smoky eye paired with chiseled cheekbones and lots of highlighter.

Beauty pro Frankie Boyd revealed that he used skincare from The Inkey List in order to ‘hydrate and prep’ 35-year-old Scarlett’s skin for the award ceremony 

The entire routine cost just $31, and included the brand’s $7.99 Hyaluronic Acid serum and the $9.99 Caffeine Eye Cream

Scarlett attended the awards show with her fiancé Colin Jost, and looked stunning in a bold red Vera Wang ballgown

It really is wedding season coming up and all the shows are happening now running up to Christmas . It has been said that 2020 is THE year to get married and already I am getting bookings filled out and for 2021 too !!

So the weekend has been a fantastic one with show casing my company at the Mercedes Benz world in Surrey , the event was held by a great company called County wedding events , they put on a great show THANK YOU 😊for inviting me along .

It’s been a great weekend to meet so many suppliers from cakes , florists , wedding singers , photographers, travel experts ,wedding dress designers , magicians and even magic mirrors !!!! I’ve done a lot of networking !! lots of 👰🏼 brides to be for 2020/2021 with exciting weddings booked in ,

2020 really is going to be the Wedding year !!

If you are planning your wedding abroad it is good to get a heads up on how you would like to have your make up on the big day, the best idea is to have a trial before hand at home and purchase the recommended products and have a mini make over lesson and you will even go home with a face chart on how-to-do your make up yourself and which are the right products to use, especially if you are planning a wedding in a hot country !

Here are some great tips on how to do your make up and what products to use

Must absolute favourite skin care line which I have loved for years is “Chantecaille”

So it’s your big wedding day approaching fast and are you wondering on how to have your make up ? How to prepare your skin before hand ? Here are some of Melissa Melody’s tips for creating that beautiful flawless look on the day .

It’s all about oil-free formulas! Use an oil-free moisturiser, so as not to overload the skin.

Primer is essential for flawless, long-lasting makeup as it grabs your skin base like a magnet. This is even more important in humidity when you’re fighting the heat . Again, an oil-free primer is a good idea.

Foundation

A light finish doesn’t look as flawless as a lot of makeup – even though it should look super natural. Go for a medium finish foundation and maybe one with a touch of glow to it , you can still get the natural look with a little bit more coverage, Again, opt for an oil-free product , you wouldn’t want any thing to heavy on your skin which may slide off in the heat ! A primer is all that should be applied to give the long lasting flawless finish. To highlight go one or two skin shades lighter on your cheekbones, temples and nose. You can use foundation, concealer or any matte crème based product. If you want luminosity then a pearlised finish is great.

Blusher

Whether you’re a cream, liquid or powder blusher girl can go out of the window when you’re talking about humid climates and photography.

For the heat, try using a creme blusher You can apply this underneath your base so it comes through very faintly. This may seem back to front to how you might usually do it but it’s a good technique for temperatures.

Chantecaille have a lovely range of blushers they are water-charged sheer blush that gives cheeks a chic pop of color with a dewy, natural finish. Eyes

Make up by Melissa Melody – Recently I had the luxury of spending the day at the wonderful Penny Hill Park Hotel and spa, this has got to be one of my favourite UK spas, I even got to try out a menu selection of treatments one of them being a beautiful deep cleanse gold facial along with a beautiful deep pressure full body massage !!!

I even got a free goodie bag of products and the choice of spa at home products to continue the skin care regime they taught me after having the gold facial . It’s not very often. I get a treat like this but when I do I am so grateful I’ve have had the best weekend ! So I thought I would share with you the products I used and a little bit about the spa and the whole place as it really is a beautiful venue for a wedding day and especially a great place to book up for hen weekends or just a good girly weekend away preparing for your big day !
