Why not have a wedding abroad I hear you say ?…. it’s warm, the beaches are beautiful, the detail in decorating a venue can be out of this world ! if you pick a great place with a view of the beach your photos will be outstanding, plus your already on your honeymoon when you wake up the next day !! I’m already thinking about where I might renew my wedding vows one day , I haven’t told my husband this yet haha !! Be it one of the Balearic Islands or in Italy or even as far as the Maldives !! There is so much choice out there …. if we can only get there with this covid drama in the way … It feels like it may be over soon and I’m sure all the brides to be out there are focusing on the positive thinking that it will be over soon so bookings can commence. Finger crossed 🤞!!!
My TOP 10 Bridal Hair Designs for 2021/22
Here are my TOP 10 favourite hairstyles I’ve seen for 2021/22 up and coming weddings. This years and next style is a very relaxed style with soft curls which are gently placed throughout the hair and not so “FIXED” in place, think tumbling curls falling down, even add in some silk flowers to your hair.
I’ve seen a lot of low bun styles with twists and braids entwined into the style so it still gives the relaxed feel to the hairstyle. I love adding hair jewellery into the hair rather than fixed tiaras, it is really about dressing the hair up as much a possible so it is a piece of hair art to show off.
The summer style dresses coming up are featuring a V-Neck and a V-back gown style with lots of French or Italian tulle and plenty of silk organza flowers, even off the shoulder style dresses are in this season with amazing fitting corsets so keep a look out for some beautiful designs. Vera Wang latest designs are simply stunning.
I cannot wait for the wedding season to start up again and to get creating some amazing styles for all my lovely brides who are waiting patiently to walk down the aisle. It will happen soon …..🙏🤞

My lockdown loves for great skincare. Be kind to your skin with my favourite daily skin care routine with these amazing products!

Staying safe and hygienic at work
As all make up artists and the beauty industry are allowed back to work now it is now time to really prep my make up kit and hairdressing kit so it is Covid safe and hygienically clean for each client I will also be wearing PPE while at work . It is my upmost importance to make each client feel comfortable and safe when they book with me.
Each client I work on for make up will have a set of make up brushes which will be sprayed clean using my The Pro Hygiene Sanitiser spray and used only on them, once used they will be put in a zip lock bag ready to be cleaned.
All my products are now in containers and airless containers which means no air can get trapped inside the product and are always wiped down and sprayed down after each use.
I have also passed the Barbicide hygiene course to say I am safe to get back into work in a safe way with my clients .

While we are in this crazy lock down situation what better way to stay relaxed! I’ve made some beautiful aromatherapy bath bombs and some kids bath bombs too to help you stay calm !
1st bath bomb – A luxury vanilla and coconut 🥥 scented bathbomb with essential aromatherapy oils of lavender & eucalyptus

2nd Bath bomb – Rose scented with essential oil bergamot & eucalyptus .
All with added sweet almond oil, sea salt & clay to detox the skin !
And for the kids The Cupcake and marshmallow with vanilla scent and a touch of pink colour to brighten the bath tub!!
